QC Specialist

Every ARDEN ONE pen carries a batch code that anyone can look up. You make sure the record behind it is right. You review the independent test results for each batch, decide whether it is released, and keep the certificate library complete and correct. You work mainly in our cleanroom, and now and then in the logistics centre.

What you will do

  • Review and approve the identity and purity results (HPLC, MS) that independent laboratories deliver for each batch.
  • Arrange sampling, and send samples and retained samples to the testing laboratories.
  • Inspect incoming pens and cartridges: seal, fill, labelling, batch code and expiry.
  • Maintain batch records and publish certificates in the online batch library.
  • Monitor storage conditions and handle deviations, complaints and corrective actions.
  • Write and maintain the procedures for quality control and batch release.

What you bring

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in analytical chemistry, life sciences, pharmacy or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in quality control in a laboratory, pharmaceutical or biotech setting.
  • You can read an HPLC chromatogram and a mass spectrum, and judge a certificate of analysis critically.
  • Familiarity with GMP or GDP is a plus.
  • You work precisely, record everything and are comfortable being the one who says no.
  • Good written and spoken English; Dutch is a plus.

What we offer

  • A salary of €2,800 to €3,760 per month, based on full-time, for 24 to 32 hours per week.
  • 27 days of annual leave plus 12 ATV days (extra days off under reduced working hours).
  • A key role in a small team, with direct influence on how quality is organised.
  • Ownership of a process customers can check for themselves, batch by batch.
  • A workplace in Arnhem: mainly our cleanroom, with occasional work in the logistics centre.
